Education & Board Certification
Naila Khan, MD, graduated from Dhaka Medical College in Bangladesh, earning her medical degree in 1990. She then relocated to New York City, where she completed a Master of Public Health degree at Columbia University in 1993. Dr. Khan later completed her Internal Medicine residency at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center in Newark, New Jersey, in 2000. She joined Kelsey-Seybold Clinic as a highly experienced board-certified internist in February 2026 and is bilingual in English and Bangla.
As a primary care physician for adults, Dr. Khan focuses on overall wellness while providing coordinated care for her patients. She prioritizes preventive care such as well checks, screenings, and immunizations along with weight loss management and other lifestyle modifications to keep her patients healthy. Dr. Khan also provides care for acute illness such as seasonal viruses and injuries as well as management for chronic conditions like hypertension, diabetes mellitus, COPD, congestive heart failure, and other cardiac conditions. Her favorite part of being a physician is having the honor of building trust with her patients.
