Melanie Roberts-Boyd, MSN, APRN-FNP, BC, is a nurse practitioner with advanced training in Neurology. She earned both her Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing degrees from Southern University and A&M College in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Melanie joined Kelsey-Seybold in July 2025 with extensive experience in performing comprehensive neurological assessments, managing inpatient consultations, and treating a wide spectrum of neurological conditions.
Inspired by her mother to enter the medical field, Melanie takes a compassionate approach to patient care. As a Neurology nurse practitioner, she assesses and treats patients for diverse neurological conditions such as strokes, neurodegenerative disorders, movement disorders, epilepsy, and neuropathies. She believes in building trust by establishing rapport and actively listening to her patients’ concerns. She enjoys helping patients work toward optimal health and finds her work most rewarding when she sees them make progress toward that goal.

Melanie believes in providing compassionate, quality care through active listening and empathetic understanding. She aims to build strong relationships with her patients by respecting their individual needs and ensuring they feel supported throughout their health journeys.
