Professional Background

Julia Tyler earned her Bachelor of Science in exercise science in 2010 at the University of Kansas in Lawrence, where she graduated summa cum laude. She completed the Master of Physician Assistant Studies program at Wichita State University in Wichita in 2013.

Prior to joining Kelsey-Seybold in August 2020, Julia worked as a physician assistant in general surgery, family practice, and urgent care.

Hobbies and Interests

Julia and her husband enjoy going to the park or pool with their two children. They also enjoy going to high school basketball games, going to the movies, listening to audiobooks, and traveling to see new parts of the world.

Fun Facts

Julia has been on mission trips up the Amazon River in Brazil and also to Uganda.

Her guilty pleasure is listening to time travel audiobooks.

She always knew, even as a child, that one day she’d work in medicine because she wanted a career where she could make a difference in peoples’ lives.

I believe communication and respect are the most important aspects of my job. I want to work with my patients to come up with the treatment plan that fits them best and to make sure they always have all their questions and concerns addressed. I want every patient to know I care about them and want to have the best experience and outcomes possible.
