Education & Board Certification
Jonathan attended the University of Louisville School of Medicine in Kentucky, graduating with his medical degree in 2009. After completing an internship, he then went to Winston-Salem, North Carolina, to complete his Diagnostic Radiology residency in 2014 and a fellowship in abdominal imaging in 2015 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. Dr. Day joined Kelsey-Seybold as a board-certified radiologist in June 2026.
Because both his parents had in careers in healthcare, Dr. Day grew up immersed in the world of science and medicine. As a radiologist, he is an integral part of patient care teams, using diagnostic imaging to provide diagnosis of symptoms and conditions. He specializes in a wide variety of imaging, including abdominal MRIs, prostate imaging, cancer imaging, and more. Dr. Day’s favorite part of Radiology is having the opportunity to help patients and their providers solve unique challenges while learning something new every day.
Philosophy of Care
Dr. Day builds trust with patients by providing consistent, clear reporting that helps their providers create actionable care plans. He enjoys helping others and sees medicine as a way to treat others as he would want his own loved ones treated.
