Holli Nelson, DO, attended the Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine at the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth, earning her medical degree in 2022. After relocating to Houston, she completed the Houston Methodist Hospital OB/GYN Residency Program in 2026. Board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dr. Nelson joined Kelsey-Seybold in September 2026.
Dr. Nelson was drawn to the field of medicine by the irresistible urge to change lives for the better through compassionate service and dedication to excellence and discipline. She provides a broad spectrum of OB/GYN care, including well woman exams, gynecologic surgery planning, menopause management, prenatal care, contraception counseling, and treatment for PCOS, abnormal uterine bleeding, endometriosis, and more. Dr. Nelson has additional clinical interests in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery. Her favorite part of practicing medicine is building connections and partnerships with her patients.
Philosophy of Care
Dr. Nelson meets her patients where they are and shows them that she’s just like them, striving to humanize medicine with an emphasis on shared decision making and evidence-based treatment plans. With a holistic approach stemming from her osteopathic medicine background, she tailors care for each patient’s individual needs.
