Professional Background

Hafsa Ishaq, PA-C, is a certified physician assistant in the Hematology/Oncology department at Kelsey-Seybold’s Berthelsen Main Campus. She received her Master of Health Science degree upon completing the physician associate program at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in Oklahoma City in 2019. Following graduation, she cared for patients as a physician assistant in Hematology/Oncology at the Stephenson Cancer Center at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center and as a physician assistant in primary and urgent care at the Shifa Clinic in Oklahoma City. She joined the Kelsey-Seybold Hematology/Oncology department in 2021.

The most beautiful and interesting place Hafsa has ever visited is Hawaii.

Not everyone knows this about Hafsa, but she was born in a small town in Alabama.

Hafsa’s younger brother was diagnosed with acute leukemia when they were kids, and because of this she wanted to become an oncologist.
