Aysenur Akoglu, MD, is Family Medicine physician who earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in biology in 2008 from New York University. She graduated with a master’s degree in medical sciences in 2011 from Boston University School of Medicine. Dr. Akoglu earned her medical degree in 2018 from American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine in St. Maarten. She completed her Family Medicine residency in 2022 at Houston Methodist. Dr. Akoglu joined Kelsey-Seybold in September 2022.

Dr. Akoglu enjoys traveling, hiking, reading, cooking, attending ballet performances, and exploring museums.

The best advice Dr. Akoglu has received is “Check your own pulse before checking the patient’s.”
The most interesting place she has visited is Florence, Italy.
As a child she wanted to be a children’s pop-up book writer “because those books were so much fun!”
