Kingwood Clinic Expansion
Houston (April 30, 2012) – In an effort to meet increased demand and to improve patient experience and convenience, Kelsey-Seybold Clinic in Kingwood will undergo a renovation in spring 2012 with an expected completion date of October 2012. During this renovation process more than 1200-square-feet of space currently being used to store medical records will be converted to usable clinical space.
"Patient care and convenience is of utmost importance to us at the Kingwood Clinic and these renovations will help us meet the increasing demand in Kingwood and improve the clinical offerings for our patients," said Twila Darnell, Clinic Administrator at Kelsey-Seybold Clinic – Kingwood.
Renovations to the Kingwood Clinic include improvements to the front entrance area, lobby, restrooms, nurses' stations, laboratory and radiology services. In addition to cosmetic improvements, the Kingwood Clinic will add two new modalities to radiology offerings including mammography and bone densitometry.
All renovations will follow a phased approach to minimize impact to clinical operations and patient care.
"We do not anticipate any interruptions to our daily operations and ask that patients bear with us during this transition," said Darnell. "I believe that at the end of this process, patients will be happy with the improvements and added convenience."
