Kelsey-Seybold Opens Premier Location in Pearland
Houston (October 9, 2013) –Kelsey-Seybold Clinic opened its doors to patients at a brand new custom-designed medical facility in Pearland on October 7, 2013. The three-story Pearland Clinic will more than double the size of the combined Silverlake and Shadow Creek locations, with 55,000 square feet designated as clinical space and room for 27 physicians. All Kelsey-Seybold physicians and clinical professionals are connected through an electronic medical record and patients have access to a secure patient portal, MyKelseyOnline, which allows them to securely communicate with their medical team from their computer or mobile device.
The new multispecialty care center, located at 2515 Business Center Drive, off Highway 288 and Broadway St., will replace the Silverlake and Shadow Creek Ranch locations.
"When we designed the new Pearland Clinic, convenience for our patients was our top priority, which is why it was so important for us to consolidate our two locations in Pearland and bring all of our physicians and medical experts under one roof," said Rodney Porter, clinic administrator for Kelsey-Seybold Clinic in Pearland. "This new clinic will help us maintain the high level of service and access our patients have come to expect from the Kelsey-Seybold brand."
Kelsey-Seybold Clinic – Pearland is one of 20 Kelsey-Seybold Clinic multispecialty care center locations throughout the Greater Houston area, and follows a series of successful openings in Meyerland, Downtown at The Shops at Houston Center and, most recently, Pasadena.
Patients will have access to 20 physicians specializing in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Pediatric Medicine, OB/GYN, Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, Orthopedics-Sports Medicine, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation/Spine, Podiatry, Cardiology, Dermatology and Pulmonary/Critical Care. Patients will have the added convenience of an onsite pharmacy to fill prescriptions.
In addition to having all physicians and medical services in the same building, the new Pearland Clinic will offer expanded medical and diagnostic testing including ultrasound, MRI and Travel Medicine as well as the immediate expansion of the clinical laboratory and the new clinic will have space designated for future digital mammography, bone densitometry, echocardiography and mobile CT imaging.
