Kelsey-Seybold Clinic Opens New Standalone Multispecialty Care Center In Pasadena Expanding Clinical Offerings
Houston (June 18, 2013) –Kelsey-Seybold Clinic will open its doors to patients at a brand new custom-designed medical facility in Pasadena on June 24, 2013. The new clinic will help accommodate the increased demand in the area and improve patient experience and convenience. The clinic will be located at 5001 East Sam Houston Parkway, Pasadena, TX 77505, near Beltway 8 and Crenshaw. Kelsey-Seybold's Pasadena care center is one of 21 multispecialty clinics throughout the Greater Houston area.
New and existing patients can see physicians in 10 medical specialties with the added convenience of having clinical services under one roof such as laboratory, diagnostic testing and screenings including radiology services, 3D mammography and an onsite pharmacy. All Kelsey-Seybold physicians and clinical professionals are connected by an electronic medical record and patients have access to their own secure portal, MyKelseyOnline, which allows them to communicate with their doctor's office from their computer or mobile device.
The two-story building will more than double the size of Kelsey-Seybold's long-time existing Pasadena location with 36,400 square feet designated as clinical space.

"This area plays a significant role in the growth and economic development of the entire Pasadena community, so it is important to be able to offer patients and local businesses access to quality medical care in their own community."
The new clinic will grow the list of specialties offered by Kelsey-Seybold to include Orthopedics - Sports Medicine, Spine Center and Podiatry, Endocrinology, Neurology, Gastroenterology, and Cardiology and will increase the capacity for additional OB/GYN and primary care physicians.
In addition to digital mammography, the Pasadena Clinic will offer 3 Dimensional Breast tomosynthesis for patients who choose to add this optional imaging to their mammogram. Bone densitometry, ultrasound, echocardiography and mobile CT imaging also will be offered. The clinical laboratory will also be expanded, and patients will have the added convenience of an onsite pharmacy to immediately fill prescriptions.

The new Kelsey-Seybold Clinic – Pasadena location was designed by architecture firm Kirksey Architecture. Gamma Construction Company was the general contractor for this project.
