Kelsey-Seybold Opens New Multispecialty Care Center in Clear Lake
Patients living in Clear Lake will benefit by having more physicians and medical services available at one, convenient location
Houston (August 4, 2014) – Kelsey-Seybold Clinic will open its doors to patients at a new, custom-designed medical facility in Clear Lake on Aug. 4, 2014. The new clinic will help accommodate the increased demand in the area offering patients added convenience and new amenities including free Wi-Fi, flat screen televisions, Saturday ill-care appointments and online scheduling for certain specialties. The clinic will be located at 1010 South Ponds Drive, directly across from Baybrook Mall on I-45, and will replace Kelsey-Seybold's two existing Clear Lake clinics.

"Our patients will be pleased with all the services and amenities the new Clear Lake Clinic has to offer and the fact they can now get care for their entire family at one location. We look forward to welcoming our existing patients, as well as new patients, to our new home in Clear Lake."
The new location offers physicians in 18 medical specialties including: Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Allergy, OB/GYN, Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, Orthopedics, Sports Medicine, Spine (Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation), Pulmonary, Optometry, Neurology, Dermatology, General Surgery, Cardiology, Rheumatology and Urology.
Patients will have the added convenience of having clinical services under one roof such as laboratory services and expanded medical and diagnostic testing, including general radiology, mobile CT, mobile MRI, ultrasound, mammography, bone densitometry, cardiac stress testing, EKG and echocardiograms. Patients also will have convenient access to an onsite pharmacy to fill prescriptions.
The three-story Clear Lake Clinic will increase the combined square footage from 41,000 to 55,000 square feet accommodating 27 physicians. Future expansion could take the facility to 39 physicians.
"Convenience for our patients was our top priority when planning the new Kelsey-Seybold Clear Lake Clinic and the reason we consolidated our two locations to bring all of our physicians and medical experts under one roof," said Cynthia Medwedeff-Blake, clinic administrator for Kelsey-Seybold Clinic - Clear Lake.
The new location was designed by Kirksey Architecture. Gamma Construction was the general contractor for this project.
