Kelsey-Seybold New Location in Pasadena
Houston (August 13, 2013) – To meet increased demand and improve patient experience and convenience, Kelsey-Seybold Clinic has begun construction on a new clinic in Pasadena with an expected completion in Spring 2013. The new Pasadena clinic will be located at 5001 East Sam Houston Parkway, Pasadena, TX 77505, near Beltway 8 and Crenshaw.
The new Kelsey-Seybold Clinic – Pasadena will be one of 21 Kelsey-Seybold Clinic multispecialty clinics in the Greater Houston area and follows successful clinic openings in Pearland, Cinco Ranch and, most recently, Downtown at The Shops at Houston Center.
The two-story construction will more than double the size of the existing location with 36,400 square feet designated as clinical space.
The new clinic will grow the list of specialties offered by Kelsey-Seybold to include Orthopedics -Sports Medicine, Spine Center and Podiatry, Endocrinology, Neurology, Gastroenterology, and Cardiology and will increase the capacity for additional OB/GYN and primary care physicians.
Additionally, the new Pasadena clinic will expand its offerings of medical and diagnostic testing to include digital mammography, bone densitometry, ultrasound, echocardiography and mobile CT imaging. The clinical laboratory will also be expanded, and patients will have the added convenience of an onsite pharmacy to immediately fill prescriptions.
"By incorporating all of these medical specialties and services under one roof, our patients will benefit from added convenience and improved care coordination," said Victor Simms, M.D., Internist and Managing Physician at Kelsey-Seybold Clinic – Pasadena. "This new clinic will also help us meet the increasing demand in the Pasadena area and broaden clinical offerings for our patients."
"We will continue to see patients at our 3508 East Pasadena Freeway location until our new clinic opens next year," added Jonathan S. Bell, Clinic Administrator at Kelsey-Seybold Clinic – Pasadena. "And when it does open, we look forward to welcoming our patients to our new facility."
The new Kelsey-Seybold Clinic – Pasadena location is being designed by architecture firm Kirksey Architecture. Gamma Construction Company has been selected as the general contractor for this project.
