Kelsey-Seybold Executive Angela Waltman Appointed to Houston Wellness Association Board of Directors
Houston (December 22, 2006) - Kelsey-Seybold Clinic Director of Business Development Angela Waltman, has accepted an appointment to the Board of Directors of the newly formed Houston Wellness Association.
The Houston Wellness Association is a collaboration of Houston-area industry leaders, local and national businesses dedicated to advancing Mayor Bill White’s 2005 wellness program to promote fitness and wellness in the wake of Houston’s designation three years in a row as America’s fattest city by Men’s Fitness magazine. The Association is comprised of major national corporations and local businesses that, as founding partners, have pledged to spearhead initiatives addressing the healthcare needs of all segments of the population. These initiatives include childhood obesity, workplace wellness and seniors’ health.
