Kelsey-Seybold Clinic Announces New Five-Story Memorial Villages Clinic To Open August 2022
This new clinic, to be located at I-10 and Campbell Road, will expand healthcare access and services for Memorial and Spring Branch residents.
Houston (April 29, 2021) – Kelsey-Seybold Clinic announced plans today to build a five-story, 125,000-square-foot clinic in the heart of Memorial and Spring Branch. Kelsey-Seybold Clinic – Memorial Villages will be located on the north side of the Katy Freeway at 9110 Katy Freeway in Spring Valley Village.
The new clinic represents another significant investment in Kelsey-Seybold's plan to bring comprehensive care closer to area residents and their families. This new location is expected to be one of the largest among several new location projects currently in progress.
Kelsey-Seybold Clinic – Memorial Villages will have room for up to 50 providers offering comprehensive healthcare for adults and children. The new clinic will also bring surgeons and other medical specialists together with its on-site Ambulatory Surgery Center, full-service imaging center, expansive laboratory services, and Kelsey Pharmacy.
"Over the next three years, Kelsey-Seybold will undergo a system-wide transformation to connect with more patients at more locations throughout the Houston-Galveston region. Access to our highly coordinated, patient-centric, and value-based accountable care is in demand, and we want to reach patients where it is most convenient for them," said Tony Lin, M.D., Chairman of the Board of Managers, Kelsey-Seybold. "Our Memorial Villages clinic is a high-visibility project, not only because of its location, but also because this site will act as a 'hub' where patients can access primary and specialty care, as well as an expansion of vital Ambulatory Surgery services and robust diagnostic services."
The new Memorial Villages location will expand access to coordinated, evidence-based care in a very large area that is near commercial enterprises and developed residential areas, including Spring Branch and Memorial. Additionally, Memorial Villages will serve as a specialty hub for nearby Kelsey-Seybold clinics, including Tanglewood, River Oaks, and Memorial City, as well as others under development.
"To serve the growing number of Kelsey-Seybold patients, as well as our Kelsey Plan and KelseyCare Advantage members, we need to grow our access for both primary care and specialty care across this region," said Kenneth Janis, M.H.A., M.B.A., Chief Operating Officer, Kelsey-Seybold. "The beautiful, new Memorial Villages location will serve as an access point for both in a densely populated area that has high visibility and prominence."
Developed in conjunction with CBK Interests Inc. and Saber Street, the new Kelsey-Seybold Clinic – Memorial Village location was designed by architects at Kirksey. Tellepsen has been named the general contractor for this project.
