Kelsey-Seybold Clinic announces new clinic location Greater Heights

Kelsey-Seybold Announces New Clinic Location to Open on 610 North Loop Freeway

Opening in fall 2021, the Greater Heights clinic will expand access to coordinated, evidence-based care serving Houston's Greater Heights area residents

Houston (May 25, 2021) – Kelsey-Seybold Clinic announced plans today to build a new 22,000-square-foot clinic on the 610 North Loop, near the intersection with U.S. Highway 290. Kelsey-Seybold – Greater Heights represents another significant investment by the clinic in the Houston community and the sixth new location to open in 2021.

Kelsey-Seybold Clinic – Greater Heights will be located at 1900 N. Loop W., Houston, Texas 77018, and will occupy the entire fourth floor. This new location will serve new and current patients living in Greater Heights, Garden Oaks, Oak Forest, and other communities located along the North Loop. Kelsey's Greater Heights clinic has room for up to 10 providers offering comprehensive primary care for adults.

"Providing convenient services in more established residential neighborhoods is a priority for our growth strategy," said Nicholas Ro, chief legal and strategic planning officer, Kelsey-Seybold Clinic. "Our new Greater Heights clinic, conveniently located near the intersection of two major thoroughfares, will close the gap for nearly 150,000 potential patients who previously had to travel outside their community to access a Kelsey-Seybold location."

Patients visiting Kelsey-Seybold – Greater Heights clinic will have access to an on-site pharmacy, laboratory, X-ray, and other diagnostic testing services and an extensive referral network of Kelsey-Seybold specialists with offices at neighboring clinics, including River Oaks, Tanglewood, Memorial City, and the newly announced 125,000-square-foot Memorial Villages, which will open in 2022.

"Our focus has always been to deliver quality, coordinated care to our patients with an equivalent emphasis on patient service.  By expanding our footprint in the Houston-Galveston region, our model of care is made more accessible to people who may not have had a nearby location before," said John Lyle, senior vice president of operations, Kelsey-Seybold Clinic. "A few months from now, we'll be looking forward to greeting new and current patients at our Greater Heights clinic."

The new Kelsey-Seybold Clinic – Greater Heights location was designed by architects at Powers Brown Architecture. Gamma Construction has been selected as the general contractor. Kelsey-Seybold Clinic – Greater Heights is expected to open in November 2021.
