Kelsey-Seybold Downtown Pharmacy Opens at the Shops at Houston Center
Houston (January 17, 2011) – Kelsey-Seybold Clinic's new downtown Houston pharmacy location opened today at The Shops at Houston Center, 1200 McKinney, Suite 417. This is the 13th pharmacy to open in the Houston area under the Kelsey Pharmacy name.
The 834-square-foot pharmacy opens in advance of Kelsey-Seybold Clinic's Houston Center relocation to The Shops at Houston Center in March. In addition to filling prescriptions, the new pharmacy will stock over-the-counter products ranging from medications for allergy relief to diabetic supplies and the onsite pharmacist can perform complimentary drug consultations for patients interested in assessing their therapeutic regimens.
"I believe that pharmacists are among the most trusted professionals and I make it a priority to develop a relationship with all of my patients," said Susie N. Thang, Pharm.D.,R.Ph., pharmacy manager, Kelsey Pharmacy at The Shops at Houston Center. "Our new, full-service Kelsey Pharmacy at The Shops is right in the heart of downtown Houston, close to many of the major office buildings and is accessible to patients through the tunnels."
For added convenience, the Kelsey Pharmacy Downtown offers patients the option of having prescriptions mailed to their home or office at no additional charge. Patients interested in having a prescription transferred can visit the pharmacy in person, call the pharmacy at 713-442-MEDS.
