Dr. Mavis Kelsey, Sr. Celebrates Milestone
Houston (October, 18, 2007) – Mayor Bill White presents a framed proclamation illustrating October 7, 2007 as Mavis P. Kelsey, Sr. Day to Dr. Mavis Kelsey, founder of Kelsey-Seybold Clinic, in honor of his 95th birthday. Mayor White spoke during the celebratory event at Kelsey-Seybold Clinic's Main Campus on Oct. 18, and noted many of Dr. Kelsey's successes and impact in pioneering the Texas Medical Center.
