Page ContentThe Kelsey-Seybold Breast Cancer Support Group According to the American Cancer Society, the Kelsey-Seybold Breast Cancer Support Group is one of the largest in Houston.A breast cancer diagnosis can have an impact on just about every aspect of life, leaving you feeling uncertain and anxious at times. The Kelsey-Seybold Breast Cancer Support Group is a means of support where, in a relaxing, confidential and supportive environment, you can learn and share with others who are traveling this journey.Together, group participants question and seek answers, laugh and cry, share their concerns, and grow in knowledge, understanding and compassion.The group meets the third Tuesday of each month from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in Room 2.7 at the Main Campus. Sponsored by Kelsey-Seybold Cancer Center and the American Cancer Society, the support group is open to breast cancer survivors and those newly diagnosed with breast cancer. Remember, You Are Not Alone!Group meetings are facilitated by healthcare professionals and provide an opportunity for women to share common experiences, problems and solutions in a supportive atmosphere.The group uses art, song, discussion groups and other activities to support members throughout all phases of their breast cancer journey.If you are interested in attending a meeting, contact Joan Wolochin, L.M.S.W. at 713-442-1036.
