Su Hyun “Robin” Jeong, MD, earned his Doctor of Medicine degree at the McGovern Medical School at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth) in 2022. After graduating, he went on to the University of Nevada Reno, where he completed his Internal Medicine internship and residency in 2025. Dr. Jeong joined Kelsey-Seybold as a hospitalist in September 2025.

Dr. Jeong became a physician to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives during some of the most critical moments of their illnesses. As a hospital-based physician, he helps patients and their families navigate complex illnesses with compassion and clarity, coordinating comprehensive treatment plans and ensuring smooth transitions of care. His clinical interests include the management of complex conditions, quality improvement in inpatient care, and optimizing transitions of care to improve patient outcomes. He is also particularly interested in evidence-based approaches to common hospital conditions such as sepsis, heart failure, and delirium. Additionally, he enjoys working on interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient safety. As there is always something new to discover and ways to improve care, Dr. Jeong finds the continuous learning that medicine offers particularly rewarding.

Philosophy of Care

Dr. Jeong provides individualized, patient-centered, compassionate care that treats each patient as a whole person with unique needs and values. He prioritizes involving them in decision making and ensures he always follows through on what he says he will do. To make his patients feel seen and heard, Dr. Jeong listens carefully and attentively to their concerns, communicating openly and clearly while showing empathy and respect.

Hobbies & Interests

In his spare time, Dr. Jeong enjoys staying active and spending time outdoors. He regularly plays pickleball and tennis, and he loves skiing and hiking when the opportunity arises. Dr. Jeong also enjoys playing chess and finding new places to eat.
