Dr. Mittal graduated from medical school in December 2000 and subsequently completed an Internal Medicine residency at the Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research in Chandigarh, India. He pursued further training in the United States with a residency and fellowship at The University of Texas Medical Branch, Galveston. He also received his Master’s degree in Clinical Science in clinical research. Before joining Kelsey-Seybold, Dr. Mittal served as an Assistant Professor at Baylor College of Medicine in the field of Gastroenterology and Hepatology from 2012-2016.
