Dr. Bedi received his medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine in 1999. Since finishing his residency in Family Medicine in 2002, Dr. Bedi worked in urgent care and family practice settings. Dr. Bedi has also served as a faculty preceptor for the Family Medicine residency program at William Beaumont Hospital.
Awards & Publications
Dr. Bedi received recognition for Clinical Honors in Pediatrics, Psychiatry and Neurology rotations and Honors in Surgery rotation in 1998. In 2014, he was recognized by Hour Detroit Magazine as a Top Doc.
Hobbies & Interests
Dr. Bedi enjoys music, dance, skiing, and watching sports – Detroit teams in particular.
Fun Facts
Dr. Bedi has visited Machu Picchu, Peru, and Malaysia. His favorite musical artist is Prince and his favorite book is “The Habits of Highly Effective People.” The best advice he said he has ever received was, “Focus on your goals and don’t distract.” When he was a child, he wanted to be an astronaut, and Dr. Bedi said that if he could have any super power, it would be to see people’s true intentions. His favorite historical figure is Guru Nanak Dev Ji.
