German Mendoza, MD, FACS, is a board-certified general surgeon with fellowship training in Advanced Gastrointestinal Minimally Invasive Surgery. He earned his medical degree in 2015 from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México Facultad de Medicina in Mexico City. He completed his General Surgery residency in 2021 at Creighton University Medical Center – Bergan Mercy Campus in Omaha, Neb. In 2022, Dr. Mendoza completed fellowship training in Advanced Gastrointestinal Minimally Invasive Surgery at the Cleveland Clinic in Weston, FL. He joined Kelsey-Seybold in September 2022.

Dr. Mendoza enjoys traveling, spending time with family, music (piano and guitar), and reading. He has specific interest in breast surgery, hernia surgery and minimally invasive surgery.
Fun Facts
The most exotic/interesting places he has been to are Kenya and China, which he visited, and Texcoco, where he lived.
Not everyone knows this about Dr. Mendoza, but he grew up in the small town of Texcoco, Mexico, a historical, major city in the pre-Hispanic era.
His guilty pleasures are tacos al pastor.
