Ethan M. Stoll, DO, MS, is a board-certified pathologist who attended Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Bradenton, Florida, finishing his medical degree in 2010. He then completed his residency in 2014 in anatomic and clinical Pathology at the University of Florida in Gainesville. Dr. Stoll remained at the University of Florida to complete a fellowship in surgical Pathology in 2015. With extensive experience in both Pathology practice and hospital leadership, he became a member of Kelsey-Seybold’s medical staff in March 2026.
Dr. Stoll was moved to pursue medicine by his experiences working in a doctor’s office in high school — with additional inspiration coming by way of the TV series Scrubs. As a pathologist, he works as part of patient care teams, analyzing tissue and laboratory findings to make or confirm diagnoses that can help guide his patients’ other physicians and specialists in creating treatment plans for conditions such as cancers, liver diseases, infections, and more. Dr. Stoll’s clinical interests focus on surgical pathology, and he finds it incredibly rewarding to be part of a multispecialty team working toward the same goal of delivering high-quality patient care.
Philosophy of Care
While Dr. Stoll doesn’t directly see patients, he prioritizes providing accurate and timely diagnoses with a thoughtful, precise, and patient-centered approach to his work. In this way, he treats every patient like a family member.
