Kelsey-Seybold Clinic Completes $1.2 Million Renovation of Women’s Health Clinic in The Woodlands
Houston (January 8, 2018) – Kelsey-Seybold Clinic – The Woodlands OB/GYN has completed a five-month, $1.2-million facelift that enhances patient care and convenience and increases capacity for future growth, nearly doubling the square footage to 15,800. The Woodlands OB/GYN Clinic providers care for more than 5,400 patients every year and the expanded clinic space will allow the practice to continue growing with the community.
In addition to the renovations, to better reflect the services offered at The Woodlands OB/GYN location, Kelsey-Seybold has changed the name of this clinic to Kelsey-Seybold Clinic – The Woodlands Obstetrics, Gynecology and Women’s Health.
“The Woodlands and the surrounding community have experienced continued residential and commercial growth – and the surrounding area will continue to grow exponentially,” said Barbara Laible, Clinic Administrator for Kelsey-Seybold Clinic – Woodlands OB/GYN and Women’s Health. “We are excited to offer convenient care that is focused on women’s healthcare for women of all ages and stages of life in this newly remodeled location. We have more space, a brighter atmosphere, and added capacity for an outstanding patient experience.”
Kelsey-Seybold Clinic – Woodlands OB/GYN and Women’s Health is located at 17198 St Luke’s Way, The Woodlands, TX 77385, now occupying the entire fifth floor. Previously, patients were seen in one suite on the fifth floor.

The newly renovated clinic now offers:
- An expanded and open waiting room with bright, natural lighting.
- Double the number of exam rooms—from 15 to 30.
- An additional procedure room and expansion of two existing procedure rooms.
- An additional ultrasound room.
- An additional Non-Stress Test (NST) room.
- A dedicated space for New OB Patient education.
- Double the size of the nursing station capacity in a centralized open concept.
- Double the space and square footage of the on-site laboratory.
- A newly added, dedicated lactation room.
As a result of the reconfigured space, the clinic’s improved and expanded floor plan now features an inviting lobby, improved patient flow in the exam room areas, and more centralized nurses’ stations and front desk check-in areas. In addition, new finishes, carpet, and aesthetic touches were added throughout to create a friendly, welcoming environment.
Kelsey-Seybold selected Powers Brown Architecture to plan the renovations. United Constructors of Texas was the general contractor for this project.
