Kelsey-Seybold Clinic Announces Plans for New Clinic in Fairfield in Fall 2022
The new clinic is the second location in the Cypress area and will expand healthcare access and services for residents living in Fairfield and nearby communities.
HOUSTON (February 17, 2022) – Kelsey-Seybold Clinic announced plans today to build a 24,220-square-foot clinic in the heart of Fairfield, a master-planned community in Cypress, Texas. Kelsey-Seybold Clinic – Fairfield will be located at 27020 Northwest Freeway in between Spring-Cypress and Mueschke Roads (next to Costco Wholesale), with a projected opening of Fall 2022.
The new clinic represents another significant step in Kelsey-Seybold’s plan to bring comprehensive care closer to residents and their families in the Cypress region. Kelsey-Seybold Clinic – Fairfield will have room for up to 12 providers offering comprehensive healthcare for adults and children, including primary and specialty care. The new clinic will also offer ancillary services, including on-site X-ray, ultrasound, mammography, a Kelsey Pharmacy, and laboratory services.
As part of this expansion into the Cypress region, additional specialty rotations will be added to Kelsey-Seybold’s Cypress Clinic location to help broaden access to specialty care for patients living in the area. Kelsey-Seybold Clinic – Cypress opened in November 2019 at the northwest corner of 290 and Highway 1960.
“The growth and development in and around the Cypress area is astonishing. Growing alongside this wonderfully curated community only makes sense – it gives us the opportunity to reach current and new patients at a location that is conveniently situated to suit their healthcare needs,” said Tony Lin, M.D., Kelsey-Seybold’s chairman of the board of managers. “We’re excited to expand our footprint in Cypress and our ability to provide medical care and services to meet the growing demand in this area.”
The new location will expand access to coordinated, evidence-based care in a sprawling suburban community, serving patients living and working in Northwest Cypress, Fairfield, Bridgeland, Blackhorse Ranch, Cole’s Crossing, and other nearby communities under development.
“The new Fairfield Clinic will help us improve access to our brand of healthcare for people living in communities in Northwest Cypress by offering primary and specialty care as well as ancillary services close to home and work,” said Kenneth Janis, M.H.A./M.B.A., chief operating officer, Kelsey-Seybold Clinic. “We’ve learned that by making quality healthcare convenient, communities thrive – and this is what we hope for with every new opening.”
The new Kelsey-Seybold Clinic – Fairfield location was designed by architects at Powers Brown Architecture. Gamma Construction has been named the general contractor for this project.
