Salvatore Paul Carbonaro, Jr., PhD, LP, LCDC

Salvatore Paul Carbonaro Jr., PhD, LP, LCDC, completed his Bachelor of Science in psychology at the University of Southwestern Louisiana in 1993. He went on to complete his Master of Science in psychology at Capella University in 2006. In 2007, he completed his coursework for licensure as a chemical dependency counselor (LCDC) through the Institute of Chemical and Dependency Studies. In 2019, he completed his Doctorate of Philosophy in clinical psychology at the Fielding Graduate University.

Dr. Carbonaro can treat a variety of psychological disorders and has experience providing treatment strategies that have evidence of improving the quality of people's lives. He has a variety of clinical interests, such as helping people cope with depression, anxiety, substance dependence, bipolar disorder (type I and II), schizophrenia/schizoaffective disorder, posttraumatic stress disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder, attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder, and autism spectrum disorder.
