Through the Kelsey-Seybold Greater Houston Plan, you have many options when you are traveling or residing temporarily outside of the area.

When You’re Traveling Out of The Greater Houston Area

You have several resources, including:

• The Kelsey-Seybold After-Hours Nurse Hotline, available toll free at 1-800-231-6421. Our After-Hours Registered Nurses have access to your electronic medical record, can counsel you, and page the doctor whenever needed. (If you're experiencing a life-threatening emergency, seek care at the nearest emergency care facility.)
• Call Kelsey-Seybold's 24/7 Contact Center at 713-442-0427 to schedule a Video Visit with a Kelsey-Seybold provider. After-hours and weekend Video Visits are available for many medical symptoms and conditions.
• Through Cigna Healthcare, you also have access to a national network of Urgent Care Centers. Call the Cigna Customer Service Line at 1-855-279-1509 to find a facility near you.

When You or Covered Family Members Are Temporarily Residing Outside of the Area

You can always access in-network Urgent Care Centers or Emergency Care when you (or a family member) are temporarily residing outside of the area. And, there’s another option. The Kelsey-Seybold Greater Houston Plan offers you access to the “Cigna Guest Privileges Program.” In this program, you enroll to receive your routine doctor’s office care through a participating network outside of the Greater Houston area. Call the Cigna Customer Service Line to find out more (1-855-279-1509). When you return to the Houston area, you will call the Customer Service Line to disenroll and return to your Kelsey-Seybold doctors for care.
