Kelsey-Seybold Clinic is a nationally recognized medical group practice and the first Accountable Care Organization (ACO) in the United States to receive accreditation by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA).

Today, Kelsey-Seybold is the only NCQA-accredited ACO in Houston and one of only two in the state of Texas. Kelsey-Seybold patients are connected to a caring and compassionate team of doctors who work together to deliver the high-quality, efficient, patient-centered care they deserve.

Cancer Center Achievements Earn Certification

The Kelsey-Seybold Cancer Center, which strives to ensure our patients receive the best possible care, received a prestigious national certification from the Quality Oncology Practice Initiative (QOPI®) Certification Program, an affiliate of the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO). The QOPI® Certification Program (QCP) certifies Hematology/Oncology practices that meet the highest quality criteria for cancer care.

Diabetes_Recognition

More than 30 Kelsey-Seybold physicians have been certified by NCAQ's Diabetes Recognition Program that recognizes clinicians who use evidence-based measures to provide quality care to their patients with diabetes. To earn NCQA Recognition, clinicians submit data demonstrating that they meet specific criteria for the 6 clinical performance measures comprising the Diabetes Recognition Program including HbA1c Control and Nephropathy Assessment.

Kelsey-Seybold also earned NCQA’s Physician Practice Connections Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) Recognition at Level 3, the highest level, for its integrated and coordinated care delivery system, which supports quality, access, continuity of care, and better patient involvement.

Kelsey-Seybold is also accredited by the prestigious Accreditation Association of Ambulatory Health Care, Inc. (AAAHC) for providing high-quality care and services consistent with AAAHC standards.
