You may be wondering if you can still receive your Be Well @ Shell Premier Prevention physical under the Kelsey-Seybold Greater Houston Plan. The answer is, “Yes!” Any Shell employee and adult dependent who is enrolled in a Shell-sponsored medical plan may participate in the Premier Prevention Exam program – including any member who chooses to enroll in the Kelsey-Seybold Greater Houston Plan.

Shell employees and dependents enrolled in the Kelsey-Seybold Greater Houston Plan can continue to have their Premier Prevention Physical at other Shell premier prevention partners if desired, but the member will return to Kelsey-Seybold for all other routine medical care. Should you choose to see another Premier Prevention Partner outside of Kelsey-Seybold for the Be Well @ Shell Premier Prevention physical, we do encourage you to obtain a copy of the physician notes and reports to provide to your Kelsey-Seybold Clinic physician.

When you opt to have your Be Well @ Shell Premier Prevention physical at Kelsey-Seybold, you choose from among 25 Kelsey-Seybold physicians and 11 clinic locations. Your visit consists of a thorough medical exam by your doctor of choice, who will identify and discuss your health risks, determine any additional tests that may be needed, review your family history, and ask about any health concerns you may have – all in a single appointment.
