Sick and Well Care - Close to Work in Downtown Houston

Who:
If you’re insured by the Harris County Medical plan, you’re eligible for healthcare services at the Health & Wellness Clinic downtown. This also includes care for your dependents (18 years and older) covered by the County medical plan.

Where:
We’re located at 1310 Prairie Street on the 9th floor of the Anderson Clayton Building.

Clinic Hours:
Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 pm.

Cost:

  • For sick care, your Primary Care visit copay applies.

  • For wellness exams or other preventive care, there is no charge for one free preventive exam per benefit year.

  • Lab services are included in your visit at no extra cost.

What We Treat:

  • Bronchitis, colds, sore throats, and flu
  • Cuts, scrapes, rashes, and skin issues
  • Back pain, muscle strains, and sprains
  • Headaches and earaches
  • Eye issues
  • Digestive issues
  • And many other conditions and illnesses

PLEASE NOTE:

  • This clinic does not treat workers’ compensation injuries.
  • Kelsey-Seybold Clinic does not accept traditional Medicare when Medicare is primary. If you have traditional Medicare as your primary coverage and wish to continue to see your Kelsey-Seybold physician, you must be enrolled in a Medicare Advantage plan that Kelsey-Seybold accepts. The two Medicare advantage plans that Kelsey-Seybold accepts are KelseyCare Advantage and Wellcare TexanPlus.

Meet Our Nurse Practitioner, Roseline Onwuchuruba, APRN, FNP-C

Roseline “Rosie” Onwuchuruba is an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) and certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C). She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from the University of Houston – Victoria in Sugar Land in 2008. She earned her Master of Science of Nursing (MSN)/Family Nurse Practitioner degree at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston in 2014. She is skilled in the diagnosis and treatment of complex health problems, as well as managing acute and chronic illnesses.
