Scrotal Conditions

The scrotum is a part of the male genitalia located behind and underneath the penis. It’s the small, muscular sac that contains and protects the testicles and blood vessels.

There are quite a few types of scrotal conditions, with most also affecting the testicles. Testicular cancer is likely the most well-known condition, but there are many others that range from minor to life threatening.

The most common forms of scrotal conditions are:

• Epididymitis
• Hydrocele
• Spermatocele
• Testicular cancer
