Thousands of Ghosts and Goblins Pound the Pavement

Thousands of people across the Houston area, including individual walkers, corporate teams and teams of friends and families, will take steps toward a cure, raising money to support MS research and programs to make a difference in the lives of nearly 12,000 Texans with multiple sclerosis. Teams include Compass Bank, The Home Depot Team, Travelers, Team CARA, Coastal Banc and Merrill Lynch

The 2002 Kelsey-Seybold Clinic MS Walks, presented by the Home Depot and Compass Bank, will be filled with fun, entertainment and costumes! Halloween costume contests will take place during the 1 to 5.6 mile handicap accessible strolls that include a shorter route for those who are mobility impaired. The walkers will be treated to complimentary food and beverages at several rest stops along the route, support vehicles to assist those who are tired, lots of fun along the way and a Texas-sized finish line reception with live entertainment, and activities for the kids.
