Kelsey-Seybold Welcomes Pulmonary Specialist, Bashar Farjo, M.D.
Houston (October 13, 2015) – Kelsey-Seybold Clinic, Houston's premier community-based multispecialty physician group for more than 60 years, welcomes Dr. Bashar Farjo, a board-certified Pulmonology Specialist. Dr. Farjo has a special interest in pulmonary disease, sleep apnea, COPD, endobronchial ultrasound and interstitial lung disease.
Dr. Farjo graduated from the University of Baghdad College of Medicine in Iraq. He completed his residency at the Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland and His fellowship in Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care Medicine at the University of Texas Medical Science center in Houston.
"My principle role is to provide the patient with accurate information about their conditions or diagnosis. This includes defining available treatment options and partnering with my patients to help formulate their best individualized health plan. I am a strong advocate for my patient. I believe continuity of care is important and a long-term partnership is essential for my patients' overall health," said Dr. Farjo.
Dr. Farjo will see patients at Kelsey-Seybold Cinco Ranch, located at 23000 Highland Knolls Dr. Katy, TX 77494; Main Campus, located at 2727 West Houston Blvd., Houston, TX 77025; and Tanglewood Clinic, located at 1111 Augusta Dr., Houston, TX 77057.
In his spare time, Dr. Farjo enjoys staying active by biking or running and spending time with his family. He and his wife enjoy volunteering in the church.
