Dr. Thomas to present "Migraines: It's Not Just a Headache"
WHAT:
There's an incessant pounding in your skull that just won't stop; almost like someone's taking a sledgehammer to your head. But is it just a really bad headache, or do you have what 15 percent of all people have the displeasure of experiencing at some point in their lives? A migraine.
On June 5, as part of Kelsey-Seybold Clinic's Healthy Living Webinar series, Neurologist Desiree Thomas will explain the difference in her presentation "Migraines: It's Not Just a Headache."
Guests are invited to listen and e-mail their questions to Dr. Thomas, who will answer questions following her presentation.

Migraines can be debilitating, and many people underestimate the degree of pain that patients who have them experience. Chronic headaches are a major cause of missed work and decrease job productivity.15 percent of people will have a migraine in their lifetime.
