Kelsey-Seybold Breaks Ground on New Katy Clinic
New Clinic to expand service offerings in fast-growing area
Houston (April 6, 2015) – To meet increased demand and improve patient experience and convenience, Kelsey-Seybold Clinic has begun construction on a new $13 million medical office building in Katy. The new clinic, is scheduled to open in early 2016, will be located at 22121 FM 1093 Road, Richmond, TX 77407 off Westpark Tollway between Grand Parkway and Fry Road. The current clinic location at 21660 Kingsland Blvd. in Katy will remain open until the completion of the new facility.
"The Katy area continues to see an abundance of growth and we believe that by expanding services in Katy we will be better able to accommodate the growth. Patient care and convenience is of utmost importance to us and our new clinic will allow us to offer more medical specialties and services," said Kristie Johnson, Clinic Administrator, Kelsey-Seybold Clinic – Katy.
The new two-story Kelsey-Seybold Clinic - Katy will double its square footage from 16,000 to 36,000 square feet with room for up to 16 physicians. Patients will have access to physicians specializing in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, OB/GYN, Cardiology, Endocrinology, Dermatology, Gastroenterology, Optometry, Sports Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine, General Surgery and Urology.
The new clinic will also offer patients expanded medical and diagnostic testing to include radiology, ultrasound, mammography, bone density and laboratory services. Patients will continue to have the convenience of an onsite pharmacy to fill prescriptions.

The new Kelsey-Seybold Clinic – Katy location was designed by Kirksey Architecture. Gamma Construction has been named the general contractor for this project.
