Kelsey-Seybold Breaks Ground on New Clear Lake Clinic
Houston (December 5, 2013) – To meet increased demand and improve patient experience and convenience, Kelsey-Seybold Clinic has begun construction on a new medical office building in Clear Lake that will bring all its existing physicians and medical services under one roof. The new Clear Lake Clinic, which will open in the summer of 2014, will be located at 1010 South Ponds Drive Webster, TX 77598. The new clinic will replace Kelsey-Seybold's two existing clinics.
Kelsey-Seybold Clinic – Clear Lake will be one of 19 multispecialty clinics in the Greater Houston area. The new Clear Lake Clinic follows the recent construction and completion of the Pearland Clinic, which opened October 7, 2013, and the new Pasadena Clinic, which opened June 24, 2013.
The three-story Clear Lake Clinic will increase the combined square footage from 41,000 to 55,000 square feet with enough room for 25 physicians. Future expansion could take the facility to 37 physicians. Patients will have access to physicians specializing in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Pediatric Medicine, Allergy, OB/GYN, Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, Orthopedics, Sports Medicine, Spine (Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation), Pulmonary, Optometry, Neurology, Dermatology, General Surgery, Cardiology, Rheumatology, and Urology. Patients will have the added convenience of an onsite pharmacy to fill prescriptions.
In addition to having all physicians and medical services in the same building, the new Clear Lake Clinic will offer expanded medical and diagnostic testing to include general radiology, mobile CT, mobile MRI, ultrasound, mammography, bone densitometry, cardio stress testing, EKG, and echocardiograms.
Physicians at Kelsey-Seybold Clinic – Clear Lake and Kelsey-Seybold Clinic – Clear Lake Medical Center will continue to see patients at the 830 Gemini and 17448 Highway 3 locations until the new Clear Lake Clinic opens.
The new Kelsey-Seybold Clinic – Clear Lake location was designed by Kirksey Architecture. Gamma Construction has been named the general contractor for this project.
