Booming Woodlands Welcomes New Kelsey-Seybold Multispecialty Center
New clinic is fourth major construction project completed in 2014
Houston (December 15, 2014) – Kelsey-Seybold Clinic opened its doors to patients at a new, custom-designed medical facility in The Woodlands on Dec. 15, 2014. The new clinic will help accommodate the increased demand in the area. The clinic is located at 106 Vision Park Blvd., Shenandoah, TX, 77384.
Kelsey-Seybold Clinic – The Woodlands is one of 19 multispecialty clinics in the Greater Houston area. The new clinic is also one of four major construction projects to be completed in 2014, which includes new clinics in Clear Lake and Humble (Summer Creek) as well as a remodeled and renamed Tanglewood Clinic in the Galleria area. The Woodlands Clinic is a part of an aggressive $200 million capital investment Kelsey-Seybold is making in the Houston area.

This is the first time that our Woodlands Clinic will have its own free-standing building, hassle-free parking and plenty of space to care for our patients," said Hugh Poindexer, M.D., managing physician at Kelsey-Seybold Clinic – The Woodlands. "Patients can expect the same quality of service they have been receiving all these years, but with more convenient services and in a beautiful new building. We look forward to welcoming our existing patients, as well as new patients, to our new home in The Woodlands."
The new three-story clinic doubles its square footage from 41,000 to 80,000 square feet with room for 38 physicians. Patients will have access to physicians specializing in Audiology, Cardiology, Dermatology, Ear, Nose and Throat, Endocrinology, Family Medicine, Gastroenterology, Hospital Medicine, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation / Spine, Pulmonary Medicine and General Surgery. Planned new medical specialties will include: Optometry and Orthopedics.
The new clinic will also offer patients expanded medical and diagnostic testing to include Radiology and laboratory services. Patients will continue to have the convenience of an onsite pharmacy to fill prescriptions.
Obstetrics and Gynecology physicians will continue to care for their patients at The Woodlands OB/GYN Clinic at 17198 St. Luke's Way, Suite 540, Medical Arts Center I, The Woodlands, TX, 77385.
