Houston Orthopedic Doctors

Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Services

Treating patients with back and neck pain, neurological conditions, orthopedic problems, and complex disabilities.

We make every effort to help patients cope with their health conditions through physical therapy, pain management, and rehabilitation.

Our board-certified specialists in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PMR), are trained to evaluate and help treat patients with back and neck pain in a nonoperative way. The focus is to help restore movement and function to patients temporarily or permanently disabled by disease or injury.

Our rehabilitation specialists manage issues that span the entire spectrum, from complicated trauma to sports-related injuries for athletes. Whether you want to strengthen an injured muscle or find relief from chronic pain, a rehabilitation physician can work with you to determine realistic short- and long-term health goals. As nerve, muscle and bone experts, we take the whole body into consideration when helping to overcome physical challenges. We make every effort to help patients cope with their health conditions through physical therapy, pain management and rehabilitation.

Tailoring Your Treatment Plan

A clear understanding of your condition and limitations is necessary to develop a treatment plan that’s tailored to your medical needs. A rehabilitation physician may prescribe low-impact activities to regain strength in a particular body part or encourage physical therapy for more serious conditions and long-term pain relief. If surgery is a required, your Kelsey-Seybold Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation specialist will work closely with your surgeon to help get you back on the road to recovery.
