We offer a wide variety of cosmetic treatments and procedures to help keep your skin feeling refreshed, restored and renewed.Botox Injections for WrinklesBotulinum toxin, commonly known as Botox, is a popular nonsurgical procedure for reducing the appearance of wrinkles, rejuvenating the aging face and treating frown lines, crow’s feet or forehead lines. The effects are not permanent, but the injections can be performed quickly, require little to no recovery time, and are not as complicated as many other cosmetic procedures. When a small amount of Botox is injected into a muscle, it blocks nerve signals that tell your muscles to contract. The effect temporarily weakens or paralyzes the facial muscles and helps smooth or eliminate wrinkles in the skin. Results are temporary, typically lasting three to four months.Dermatologist(s) who perform this cosmetic procedure: Dr. Riva Collins, Dr. Lana Hawayek, Dr. Rachel Parry, Dr. Mohsin Mir, Dr. Isabella Gyening, Dr. Sunaina Likhari, Dr. Kenne Ogunmakin and Dr. Kimberly Mullinax.Plastic Surgeons who perform this cosmetic procedure: Dr. Jamal Bullocks and Dr. Yoav Kaufman along with Alisa Baker, PA-C.Dermal FillersDermal fillers are another popular nonsurgical option for helping to solve aging skin problems. They help to diminish facial lines and restore volume and fullness to the face. Dermal fillers, unlike Botox injections that relax the muscle under a wrinkle, fill in the forehead line or crease. As a result, the line and crease nearly disappears. Dermal fillers can also be used as “volumizers,” by plumping and lifting cheeks, filling out thin lips and improving the appearance of recessed scars. Your dermatologist can determine the best type and volume of filler needed for your particular areas of concern and can carefully explain the longevity of your results.Dermatologist(s) who perform this cosmetic procedure: Dr. Riva Collins, Dr. Lana Hawayek, Dr. Mohsin Mir, Dr. Kenne Ogunmakin and Dr. Kimberly Mullinax.Plastic Surgeons who perform this cosmetic procedure: Dr. Jamal Bullocks and Dr. Yoav Kaufman along with and Alisa Baker, PA-C.Sclerotherapy for Spider Veins Sclerotherapy is a medical procedure dermatologists use to help eliminate varicose and spider veins. It involves an injection directly into the affected vein. The injected solution irritates the lining of the vein, causing it to swell and stick together. Over time, the vessel turns into scar tissue that eventually fades from view.Generally, spider veins respond to treatment in three to six weeks, and larger veins respond in three to four months. If the veins respond to the treatment, they usually will not reappear. However, new veins may appear over time. If needed, you may return for more injections. The number of veins injected during one session is dependent on the size and location of the veins, and your overall medical condition. Before the procedure, it’s best to consult with your dermatologist to evaluate your eligibility for sclerotherapy. A chemical peel uses a chemical solution to smooth the texture of your skin by removing its damaged outer layers. The chemical used in the cosmetic procedure causes the skin to peel off. Between the next one to 14 days, new skin will appear. All peels require follow-up care from your dermatologist. You will be given specific instructions to follow, which will include everything from how to wash your skin to sun protection. Before you decide to have a chemical peel, talk to your dermatologist about the kind of results you can expect. Chemical peels are not a permanent solution for skin discoloration, dull complexions or acne. Explain to your dermatologist what you would like your ear lobe to look like after the repair and whether you plan to wear earrings in the future.Dermatologist(s) who perform ear lobe repairs include: Dr. Riva Collins, Dr. Isabella Gyening and Dr. Lana Hawayek.Plastic Surgeons who perform this cosmetic procedure: Dr. Jamal Bullocks and Dr. Yoav Kaufman.KybellaAre you unhappy with extra fullness beneath your chin and seeking a nonsurgical option?
