Important Information for Children with In-Clinic Appointments
In-Person Appointments are available for pediatric patients. Call our 24/7 Contact Center at 713-442-0000 to schedule an appointment with a Kelsey-Seybold Pediatrician at a Clinic location near you.

Preparing for your child's appointment
  • Our Pediatrics care team will be wearing face masks, so please let your children know in advance.
  • All family members will be screened, and their temperature taken upon entry into the clinic.
  • We ask that you and your children older than 2 wear a mask (homemade face masks or other cloth masks are fine) when you arrive at the clinic for your scheduled appointment. Please limit the number of family members attending the visit to as few as possible.
  • Proceed directly to your Pediatrics waiting area. We strongly suggest you consider using our convenient online eCheck-in process through the MyChart or MyKelsey app as you arrive onsite at the clinic.
Outpatient Procedures in our Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC): New Guidelines to Protect Patients
In accordance with national and state guidance, we have implemented the following measures to help reduce exposure and risk to our patients and ASC staff.

Patient Guidelines in Place:
  • Patients are tested for COVID-19 five days prior to their scheduled procedure.
  • Patients and family members must wear a face mask or face cover.
  • Patients are screened at our entrances and everyone will have their temperature taken prior to entry to the facility.
  • Patients are asked to have only one family member or friend accompany them to their procedure.
  • Limit the number of personal items you bring into the clinic.
  • Practice social distancing of 6’ or more from other patients and families.

Because patients 65 years and older are at a higher risk during this time, please discuss with your doctor when you can safely schedule any preventive screenings or other procedures that were delayed due to COVID-19 precautions in place over the last several months.

Kelsey-Seybold ASC Safety Measures in Place to Protect Employees and Patients:
  • Physicians and employees are required to wear a face mask while in patient care on Kelsey-Seybold Clinic premises.
  • Additional measures for infection control have been implemented to help provide patients and our staff a safe clinical environment for your procedure.
  • Employees are screened daily before entering the clinic and have their temperature checked.
  • The number of hand sanitizer stations in the ASC has been increased.
  • Extra cleaning protocols throughout the day have been implemented for all “high touch” surface areas.

In-Person Appointments: Call our 24/7 Contact Center at 713-442-0000 to schedule an appointment with a Primary Care doctor or Specialist at a Clinic location near you.  If you are experiencing any respiratory illness or COVID-19 symptoms, please conduct a Virtual Visit for your care.

To protect our patients and employees, we have implemented new screening and face mask guidelines for all patients and visitors. Learn more and prepare for your visit.

Online Scheduling for In-Person Appointments: You can schedule online through your MyKelseyOnline account or MyChart/MyKelseyOnline App. Note: Due to COVID-19 symptom screening processes in place, online scheduling for same-day and next-day appointments is not available at this time. If you need to be seen in-person sooner, please call the 24/7 Contact Center at 713-442-00000 to schedule.

COVID-19 PATIENT SAFETY NOTICE:
FOR THE SAFETY OF OUR PATIENTS AND EMPLOYEES: If you are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms (cough, fever, shortness of breath, or other respiratory conditions), PLEASE CONTACT US IMMEDIATELY AND PRIOR TO ARRIVING AT THE CLINIC.
There are two ways you can contact us if you are experiencing symptoms:

  • Call our 24/7 Contact Center at 713-442-0000 for COVID-19 screening and care support.
  • If you are a current Kelsey-Seybold patient, you can conduct an E-visit or Video Visit with a Kelsey-Seybold Clinic provider to be screened and get care for any COVID-19 symptoms. Log in to your MyKelseyOnline account or MyChart/MyKelsey App to start a Virtual Visit for immediate care.
