​Take Care by Taking 5!

Follow these five important measures to help protect yourself and others.

  1. Have a plan. Your risk for contracting COVID-19 depends on a few key factors. The number of people, time, and proximity to people determines your potential risk. The more people you see, the longer you are with them, and the closer you are together, the more your risk increases. Learn More

  2. Mask up! It’s simple, wearing a mask protects you and others. When in public, wear a mask! If everyone wore a mask, the risk of spreading this virus would go down drastically.

  3. Give some space. Social distancing works and it works even better when you also wear a face mask! Practice social distancing whenever you are in the presence of people who live outside your home. Outside or inside, try to keep at least six feet apart.

  4. Hand hygiene. Wash your hands with soap and water. Use hand sanitizer. Disinfect surfaces. Good hand hygiene continues to be important. Wash your hands, use hand sanitizer when out of the house, and frequently disinfect high-touch surfaces.

  5. Stay home when sick or if you’ve been around someone who tested positive for COVID-19. Take personal responsibility to not expose others if you are running a fever or feeling under the weather.
