Fun Facts

The best advice Dr. Canon has ever received is “Treat others as you would like others to treat you.”

The most exotic place she has visited is the Philippines! “I love the delicious food, unique culture, exotic beaches, and the welcoming community.”

As a child, Dr. Canon volunteered for local medical events with her father. This inspired her to be of service to others, and she initially wanted to pursue dentistry like her mother. She continued to volunteer in clinics and, after a summer research project, decided to become a doctor.

My philosophy of care is to treat my patients with compassion and respect while maintaining an open line of communication. By helping them understand their diseases as well as treatment options, I aim to collaborate with my patients and empower them to make informed decisions about their care.
