Fun Facts

Dr. Karram says the best advice she’s ever received is to “listen to your patients. They’ll tell you what you need to know to make a diagnosis. Labs and imaging are only for confirmation.”

The most interesting place she’s visited is Glacier National Park in Montana. As a child, she dreamed of being a doctor and often played doctor to her little sister’s toys, using ribbons as bandages and pencils as splints.

My philosophy is to develop a plan of care with, not for, my patients. I believe patients should be encouraged as much as possible to take an active role in their own care.
