Professional Background

Dr. Pang received her medical degree from Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia in 2010. She completed an Internal Medicine internship at Boston University Medical Center in 2013 and was awarded a fellowship in Geriatrics and Palliative Medicine from Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, New York, in 2016. Prior to joining Kelsey-Seybold in 2019, Dr. Pang was an Assistant Professor in the Department of General Internal Medicine at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston.

Dr. Pang is a member of the American Geriatrics Society, the American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine, the Texas Medical Association, and the Harris County Medical Society. 

Hobbies and Interests

Dr. Pang enjoys spending time with family, exploring parks, and reading.

Fun Facts

The most exotic place Dr, Pang has visited is the Galapagos Islands. Her guilty please is binge watching Netflix. Her favorite poem is Desiderata by Max Ehrmann.
 
As a child, Dr. Pang wanted to be a zoologist when she grew up.

​It’s important to listen to patients so I can work with them to match medical treatments to their personal goals. Because treating the person oftentimes involves more than just a physician-patient relationship, I value working within a multidisciplinary team and encourage family and caregiver input.
