Dr. Joslyn John earned her medical degree in 2009 at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School in Newark. She also completed her Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) residency at Rutgers in 2013.

 
Dr. John is certified in Registered Musculoskeletal Sonography. She has worked in a variety of positions over the course of her medical career, including attending physician and Outpatient Medical Director at Quentin Mease Community Hospital in Houston from 2013 to 2016; physician in the Western Blind Rehab Center, Department of Veterans Affairs, in Palo Alto, Calif., from 2015 to 2016; outpatient attending physician for the Department of Veterans Affairs in Palo Alto from 2016 to 2017; outpatient clinic attending physician at Baylor College of Medicine, McNair Campus, from 2017 to 2018; undergraduate Medical Education Director at Baylor College of Medicine, Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) from 2016 to 2018; Assistant Program Director at Baylor College of Medicine, Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation in 2018; PM&R consultant for Nexus Specialty LTAC in Shenandoah, Texas, from 2018 to 2019; and a physician at Touchstone, Nexus Neurorecovery Center in Conroe from 2018 to 2019. Dr. John joined Kelsey-Seybold in 2020.
