​​​​Profess​ional Background

Dennis Chang is a board-certified Medical Physicist with over 10 years of experience in Radiation Oncology Physics and four years of Siemens linear accelerator service engineer experience. He received his Master of Science degree in Radiologic and Imaging Sciences in 2009 from Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia. He is board-certified in Therapeutic Radiologic Physics by the American Board of Radiology and is a certified medical dosimetrist (CMD). He is proficient with TomoTherapy, Varian TrueBeam, RapidArc external beam and prostate seed implant procedures and treatment plans.
 
Dennis has held a number of positions throughout his career. Prior to joining Kelsey-Seybold in October 2017, he served as acting chief medical physicist at Northeast Oncology Associates at New York-Presbyterian Hudson Valley Hospital in Peekskill, NY. He also served as chief medical physicist from 2012-2017 at Northeast Oncology Associates at Upper Delaware Valley Cancer Center in Milford, Penn.

Hobbies and Interests

Dennis enjoys traveling, reading, learning and sports, particularly basketball, baseball and football.

The best advice Dennis has received is “never stop learning” and he strives to learn new things every day, which he says keeps life meaningful and interesting.
 
Dennis’ guilty pleasure is eating hot donuts and ice cream.
