He graduated with a Bachelor of Science from Southern Methodist University in Dallas in 1970. He then earned his medical degree from The University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas in 1974. Dr. Morris completed a residency in Family Medicine at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth in 1977. He is certified in Geriatrics. He came to Kelsey-Seybold Clinic from Ellington Memorial Clinic, LLP, Atlanta, Texas, of which he was owner and director of Information Technology and Electronic Health Records.
