Professional Background

Ari Vasudevan earned his Master of Science in Medical Physics in 1998 at Anna University in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India. He is a board-certified medical physicist who established and advanced his medical career in India from 1999 to 2005 before moving to the United States in 2005. He did his internship at Centegra Sage Cancer Center in McHenry, Illinois. From 2006 to 2008, Ari cared for patients as a therapy physicist at Avera St. Luke’s Hospital in Aberdeen, South Dakota. From 2008 until he joined Kelsey-Seybold in 2019, Ari served as a therapy physicist at Finley Hospital in Dubuque, Iowa.

Ari is a member of the American Association of Physicists in Medicine (AAPM) and the Association of Medical Physicists of India.

Hobbies and Interests


Ari enjoys fishing, riding motorcycles, investing, photography, and cooking.

Fun Facts

The best advice Ari has ever received is that “it’s never too late to learn – education stays with you for life.” The most interesting place he’s visited is Chicago. His guilty pleasure is cheesecake. As a child, he wanted to become a photographer or cinematographer when he grew up.
