Professional Background

Amanda Gujral attended New York University in New York City, where she received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2011. In 2019 and 2020, she completed clinical rotations for her Master of Science in Nursing. She completed the Adult/Gerontology Primary Nurse Practitioner program at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston in 2020.

Over the course of her nursing career, Amanda has cared for patients in a variety of hospital and clinic settings. Prior to joining Kelsey-Seybold as a nurse practitioner, she worked as an interventional radiology nurse from 2016 to 2017 at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center and as a per diem infusion nurse from 2017 to 2019 at Kelsey-Seybold.

Amanda is a board-certified adult-gerontology primary care nurse practitioner credentialed by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). She joined Kelsey-Seybold in January 2021.

Amanda is a member of the American Nurses Association, the Texas Nurse Practitioners, and the Oncology Nurses Society.

Hobbies and Interests

Amanda enjoys spending time with her daughter, husband, and goldendoodle named Mookie. She also enjoys working out, traveling, and working at the Minds Matter Houston Chapter, a nonprofit she and her husband founded.

I believe in cultivating strong relationships with my patients by truly listening to their concerns. I’m focused on working collaboratively with my colleagues to bring evidence-based and up-to-date treatment to my patients.
