Dr. Alexander Ou is a board-certified neurologist with fellowship training in Neuro-Oncology. He earned his Doctor of Medicine degree in 2015 at New York Medical College in Valhalla and completed his residency in 2019 at Stony Brook University Hospital in New York. Dr. Ou did his fellowship training in Neuro-Oncology in 2021 at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston.
He has conducted various neurology and neurology-oncology research projects in association with the National Heart Lung and Blood Institute, The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, and the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. In addition, Dr. Ou is a published co-author of multiple scientific papers, abstracts, and book chapters.
Dr. Ou cared for patients at HCA Houston Healthcare prior to joining Kelsey Seybold in August 2022.
Dr. Ou enjoys cooking, traveling, exploring new restaurants, board sports, and spending time with family.
Fun Facts
As a child, Dr. Ou wanted to be a pyrotechnic chemist because he loved the idea of science and explosions. He was wisely steered toward a safer profession.
